MARKLILY TO CONSILIDATE LILY HYBRIZING PROGRAM WITH VLETTER & DEN HAAN.

LISSE, The Netherlands – In good consultation between both companies an agreement has been reached to consolidate the hybridization programs of Marklily Growers Association and Testcentrum voor Siergewassen with Vletter & Den Haan in Rijnsburg, The Netherlands.  

This decision is based on a changed market situation in the lily industry and the desire of both parties to jointly create and market a better product in the future. 

At this moment, hybridization programs of both organizations take place on different locations. From 2011, both hybridization programs will be consolidated, where after only Vletter & Den Haan will continue the hybridization program. All NEW to be developed and created varieties will be marketed by Vletter & Den Haan.

Existing varieties will be market by Marklily and Vletter & Den Haan separately so that Marklily remains active with new material. The hybridization programs of Hyacinths, Tulips and Gladiolus will be continued by Testcentrum voor Siergewassen in Hillegom.
