|
For
cutflower muscari 'CUPIDO' is a variety which will be very suitable for
cuflower purpose because it will make lenght |
|
easily. |
|
Cooling
(9 degree C) can be started from August 25 and will be first given to the
dry-bulbs. |
|
From
end of October you can plant them on boxes with peatmoss and continue cooling
by planted condition for at least |
|
another 8 weeks. |
|
When
you keep the planted boxes longer in the cooling room and store for more than
8 weeks in planted condition which |
is possible to do. |
|
Please
take care that you redecu the temperature week by week the control the sprout
and make sure they will not hit |
|
the box above. |
|
The
muscari's will ot make a very strong rooting system and when the hit the box
above they easily pull up when you |
|
take the
boxes out of the cooling room and take off from each other. |
|
The
muscari's can grow by low temperatures and do not to be heated. When you like
to make a stable forcing programm |
the advise
is to keep a temperature of 16 degree C and open the greenhouse by 20 degree
C. |
|
When the
muscari's have reach the cutting stage you can store the uncutted boxes in 2
degree C easily another week. |
|
This will
have NO infuence on the flowering time of the muscari after you cut it. |
